THE SITE COMMUNITIES

To participate in any communities within this Site, you are requested to register first. Any personal information supplied as part of this registration process and/ or any other interaction with the Site will be collected and stored as per the Privacy Policy. You agree to use the Site’s communities (including message boards) following the Community Rules. These apply across all of the Site’s community sites and services.

YOUR HARVARD’S WORLD RECORDS ACCOUNT

All accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly so that moderation emails can be sent to you. If you use multiple logins to disrupt a community or annoy other users you may have action taken against all of your accounts. . We may require users to re-validate their account if we believe they have been using an invalid email address. HWR reserves the right to close accounts if any user is seen to be using false Internet Protocol addresses to attempt to hide the use of multiple HWR accounts, or disrupts any of our services in any way. The submission of illegal materials including text, graphics, video, programs, or audio is highly disapproved. Contributing material to the Site’s community to commit or promote an illegal act is strictly prohibited. If you submit or share offensive or inappropriate content to or with any of the Site’s communities or anywhere else on the Site or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on the Site, and HWR considers such behaviour to be serious and/ or repeated, we may use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop any further such infringements. This action may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school, or email provider about the infringement(s).

We shall claim notice to you of any suit, or proceeding and shall assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claim, suit, or proceeding.
